Assassin Andy does it again

4 Feb, 2010.
ANDY Russell was disappointed ... he expected more.
Russell's bitch Saturn Assassin (Whisky Assassin-Tears Of Jupiter) dashed right away to win a 710m 4th-5th Grade at Albion Park on Thursday night.
She scored by a length and a half in a fast 41.90 beating Nabisco with two and three-quarters of a length to Happy Love in third.
Bondi Beauty was a disappointing fourth.
Saturn Assassin was the medium of a reversal of form when wining over 710m at headquarters last week in 42.04.
Andy and his brother Darren know only too well the ability Saturn Assassin has so that victory last week did not surprise.
"I honestly thought she would go quicker tonight," said Andy of the 41.90 victory.
"Once she got to the front in the back straight I thought she would run faster."
Russell is unsure what his immediate plans for Saturn Assassin are.
"She is a very nervy bitch," he said. "Trying to get a swab sample was fun last week. It's difficult with her, but while she is racing like this she will keep coming back."
Saturn Assassin has now won four and been placed in four of her 16 starts.
Russell admitted last week he had stumbled upon the way to train Saturn Assassin by keeping her fresh.
"I only give her one straight gallop a week now. It's enough for her."
