John happy Miss not sold

4 March, 2010.
JOHN Dart knows only too well Miss Jersey is for sale.
The daughter of Big Daddy Cool-Princess Taylah was advertised for sale for $25,000 in a southern publication this week.
She came out on Thursday night and led throughout to win a 710m Best 8 at Albion Park.
She scored by three and three-quarter lengths over Happy Love with seven and a quarter to Captain Bravo in third.
Miss Jersey is raced by Steve Noad who is moving from West Australia to Tamworth and is building a new home.
She is trained by Glenda Dart whose husband John handled the bitch for her win on Thursday night.
"Steve told me he was going to put her up for sale," said John. "Glenda and I will be happy to keep her if she doesn't sell."
Miss Jersey won the Big Dog Challenge over 600m at Albion Park late last year and the Darts will target some up-coming feature races at headquarters over that distance.
"And the Gold Cup and Winter Chase are coming up here as well," said John. "She's worth going into those races."
Miss Jersey has now won 14 races and nine of those have been at Albion Park.
