Text Box: Albion Angle  Issue 4 13April 2006 Monday Run of the Night Congratulations to Power Pack and trainer Darryl Smith for winning The Mad Chinaman’s Restaurant run of the night for Monday 3 April with a stylish 30.33 win. Power Pack is a litter brother to Shiokaze who won the Awesome Foursome at Capalaba last Saturday, making it a big week for the litter. Berella Electra Congratulations to Ron Ball and Berella Electra for making the final of the Golden Easter Egg this Saturday. We wish you the best of luck in the final. Sponsors The Club is pleased welcome back as a sponsor to Albion Park greyhounds: Moonlight Farms Greyhound Stud Moonlight Farms will be sponsoring two incentive awards each week. On Monday nights we will be introducing the Moonlight Farms Bonus Dog. One dog will be drawn each Monday night as the bonus dog. If that dog wins the connections will win a free service to one of Moonlight Farms sires. Thursday night will see the introduction of the Moonlight Farms Pick 6. This will be a racebook competition where patrons will be able to nominate the winners of races 3 to 8. Anyone successfully picking all 6 winners will receive the Jackpot Prize. The prize will start at $100 and jackpot by $20 each week that it is not won. The Club will be introducing a trainers’ incentive on Fridays – details to be announced soon. Kennel Water Cooler The Club is now providing a water cooler in the kennel block for handlers. This will make life a little more pleasant for handlers of multiple dogs on race nights. Track Maintenance The track will be undergoing minor maintenance on Saturday 22 April, weather permitting. This is not the major turning of the track which takes place in September. Easter Thursday We will be providing chocolate Easter bunnies for all kids on course tonight and Easter baskets will be presented to all race winners. Easter Nomiations Thursday 20 April – Nominations close Tuesday 18 April at 8.30am with the GRA Friday 21 April – Nominations close Tuesday 18 April at 8.30am with the GRA Good Friday There will be no racing and no trialling on Good Friday.
