4 Easy Steps to Nominate Your Greyhound
The
operator will ask you for the following information.
1.
Name of Greyhound
2.
Ear brand
3.
Trainers Licence Number
4.
Track, Date, Distance, Comments (i.e. Heats/Early Race/particular
event etc)

Note:
- A nomination form will need to be completed when nominating
a greyhound for its first initial Queensland start if
the greyhound has competed interstate.
- A
nomination form needs to be completed so relevant information
concerning the greyhound/owner/trainer /performances
can be recorded on the GQL database.
- Once
this information is received the telephone nomination
service may be used provided there is no change in ownership
or trainer of the particular greyhound. Should this
be the case a new nomination form will need to be completed.
- If
the greyhound has raced interstate since its last Queensland
performance it is the responsibility of the
nominator to advise the operator of the State
and Track where the greyhound competed. This will enable
the Grading Department to obtain the relevant performances
for grading and race book purposes.
