Stewards convened an Inquiry on the 14th of January 2010 in relation to Licensee Mr. Alan Dargusch’s conduct towards stewards when attempting to notify stewards of a scratching, over the telephone, for the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club meeting held on Tuesday the 5th January 2010.

Stewards directed Trainer Mr. Alan Dargusch of Lowood to appear.

Evidence was taken from Mr. Dargusch and Stipendiary Steward Mr. Chris Travers.

After considering all the evidence Stewards charged Trainer Mr. A. Dargusch under R 86 (f) (i) which states;
A person (including an official) shall be guilty of an offence if the person-
(f) engages in, publishes or causes to be published, broadcasts or causes to be broadcast, the use of any contemptuous, unseemly, improper, insulting, or offensive language, conduct or behaviour in any manner or form towards, or in relation to-
(i) a Steward;

Mr. Dargusch pleaded guilty as charged.

Mr. Dargusch was fined the sum of $500.

Mr. Dargusch was read his rights of Appeal at the conclusion of the Inquiry.
