Stewards convened an Inquiry on the 5th of March 2010 in relation to the urine sample numbered 289281 taken from the greyhound “CRYSTALIZATION” which competed on the 6th of January 2010 at the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club in Race 2 (placed 1st) and subsequently returned positive to the prohibited substances Nandrolone, 19-noretiocholanolone, 19-norepiandrosterone.

Stewards directed Trainer Mr. Raymond Burman of Park Ridge to appear.
Evidence was taken from Mr. Burman.

Stewards charged the Trainer under R 83 (2) (a) (d) which states;
(2) The owner, trainer or person in charge of a greyhound
(a) nominated to compete in an Event
(d) shall present the greyhound free of any prohibited substance  
 
Mr. Burman pleaded guilty as charged.

Mr. Burman was suspended for 2 months and fined $2000.

Stewards disqualified the greyhound “CRYSTALIZATION” under R 83 (4) from Race 2 (placed 1st) at the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club meeting held on the 6th of January 2010.

Prizemoney must be returned to Greyhounds Queensland.

Mr. Burman was read his rights of Appeal at the conclusion of the Inquiry.

Mr. Burman was advised of his obligations under Local Rule 26.
