STEWARDS PRESENT: G. THORSBY (Deputy Chairman of Stewards)

Stewards convened an Inquiry on the 12th of May 2010 in relation to the removal of the greyhound “CELTIC BLUE” at the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club meeting held on the 28TH of April 2010, via the public car park as opposed to the nominated trainer’s car park as directed.
Stewards directed Trainer Mr. James Loye and Kennel Attendant Ms Fiona Geary to appear.
Evidence was taken from Mr. Loye and Ms. Geary.
Stewards charged the Trainer Mr. Loye under R 86 (p) which states;
A person (including an official) shall be guilty of an offence if the person-
(p) disobeys or fails to comply with the lawful order of a Steward or other person or body having official duties in relation to greyhound racing.
Mr. Loye pleaded guilty to the charge.
Mr. Loye was fined $500 fully suspended for 12 months.
Mr. Loye was read his rights of appeal at the conclusion of the inquiry.
