Stewards opened an inquiry into the conduct of owner Robert Eastaughffe at the Townville Greyhound Racing Club’s meeting on 8 June 2006 in the car park adjacent to the track entry.

After taking evidence from Mr. Eastaughffe and from steward’s observations,
Mr. Eastaughffe was charged under GAR 125(1)q for acting in a manner which was detrimental to the interest and image of greyhound racing.

Mr. Eastuaghffe reserved his plea.

Stewards found Mr. Eastaughffe guilty as charged and was disqualified for a period of
6 months.

Mr. Eastaughffe was advised of his rights of appeal at the conclusion of the inquiry.
