Stewards convened an Inquiry on the 11th of February 2010 in relation to the conduct of Licensee Mr. Glenn Smith towards a club official following the running of race 10 at the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club meeting held on the 28th January 2010.

Stewards directed Trainer Mr. Glenn Smith of Park Ridge to appear.

Evidence was taken from Mr. Smith and club official Mrs. Helen Cantwell.

After considering all the evidence Stewards charged Trainer Mr. G. Smith under Rule 86 (f) (iv) which states;
A person (including an official) shall be guilty of an offence if the person-
(f) engages in, publishes or causes to be published, broadcasts or causes to be broadcast, the use of any contemptuous, unseemly, improper, insulting, or offensive language, conduct or behaviour in any manner or form towards, or in relation to-
(iv) any other person having official duties in relation to greyhound racing;

Mr. Smith pleaded guilty as charged.

Mr. Smith was fined the sum of $500.

Mr. Smith was read his rights of Appeal at the conclusion of the Inquiry.
