Stewards convened an Inquiry on the 10th of December 2009 in relation to an unlicensed person handling a greyhound on behalf of Licensee Mr. Jeffrey Henzell at the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club trials on Wednesday the 25th November 2009.

Stewards directed Trainer Mr. Jeffrey Henzell of Wynnum and Mr. Dennis Welch of Raceview to appear.

Evidence was taken from Mr. Henzell and Mr Welch.

After considering all the evidence Stewards charged Trainer Mr. J. Henzell under R 101 (2) (b) which states;
(2) An owner or trainer shall not permit an unlicensed person to-
(b) handle on any racecourse,
a greyhound owned by or pursuant to the control of the owner or trainer.

Mr. Henzell pleaded guilty as charged.
Mr. Henzell was fined $250.
Mr. Henzell was read his rights of Appeal at the conclusion of the Inquiry.
