Stewards opened an Inquiry in relation to the circumstances that surrounded an incident involving Stewards and handler Ms. K. Harradance during kenneling at the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club meeting on the 8th of June 2009.

Stewards directed handler Ms. K. Harradance of Fernvale to appear.

Stewards took evidence from Ms. Harradance, Mr. B. Dull, Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club employee J.Andreas send along with Senior Steward G. Thorsby, Steward D. Taggart, Steward J. Bauer and accepted a number of written exhibits.

 As a result Stewards charged Ms. Harradance under Rule 86 (f)(i)
A Person (including an official) shall be guilty of an offence if the person- (f) engages in, publishes or causes to be published, broadcast, or causes to be broadcasts, the use of any contemptuous, unseemly, improper, insulting, or offensive language, conduct or behavior in any manner or form towards, or in relation to,
(iv) any other person having official duties in relation to greyhound racing.

Ms. Harradance pleaded not guilty.

Ms. Harradance was found guilty as charged.

Ms. Harradance was fined $500.

Ms. Harradance was read her rights of Appeal at the conclusion of the Inquiry.
