Stewards opened an Inquiry in relation to the appearance of Trainer Russell McBride of Clarendon, formerly of New Zealand, on the defaulters list from Western Australia.

Stewards accepted evidence from Mr. McBride, along with written exhibits from Western Australia and New Zealand.

As a result, Stewards charged Mr. McBride under Rule 125(1)(K) which states Any Person (including an Official) who; falsely or fraudulently registers, attempts to register or causes to be registered himself or another person under these Rules, or by way of a false or fraudulent document, statement or representation.

Mr. McBride pleaded guilty.

Mr. McBride was fined $500.

Mr. McBride was read his Rights of Appeal at the conclusion of the Inquiry.
