Stewards convened an Inquiry in relation to the urine
sample numbered 254007 taken from the greyhound “SAILWAY
CHISHO” which competed on the 4TH October 2007 at
the Brisbane Greyhound Racing Club in Race 4 (placed 8th)
and subsequently returned positive to the drug Paraxanthine
and Theobromine.
Stewards directed Trainer Mr Robert Hilder of Kingston
to appear.
Stewards took evidence from Trainer Mr. Hilder
Stewards charged the Trainer under GAR 122, which
states: The Owner, Trainer or person in charge of a greyhound
nominated to compete in an Event shall produce the greyhound
for the Event free of any drug.
Mr. Hilder pleaded guilty.
Mr. Hilder was Suspended for 3 months and fined $250.
Stewards disqualified the greyhound “SAILAWAY CHISHO”
under AR 124 (1) from Race 4 (placed 8th) at the Brisbane
Greyhound Racing Club meeting on the 4th October 2007.
Mr. Hilder was read his rights of Appeal at the conclusion
of the Inquiry.
