The following greyhounds were sent to the veterinary surgeon upon completion of their event, but were not found to be suffering any injury.

Race 1 PUISSANT Injured in running, near hip, 10 days
Race 4 WING A WAY Injured in running, off hock, 3 months
DEE CEE BEE was slow to begin. Rounding the 1st turn in a general scrimmage WEEKEND SHOPPER, PUISSANT and WHIRLY BIRD lost ground. Approaching the home turn DEE CEE BEE raced greenly and shifted ground very wide on the track.
HAPPY LOVE was slow to begin. Rounding the 1st turn BOOM CRASH and BROOKVALE ANGEL raced tight. Shortly afterwards BROOKVALE ANGEL clipped the heels of BOOM CRASH falling heavily taking no further competitive part in the event. As a result of the fallen runner MITZIE’S ANGEL, HAPPY LOVE and SELECT TEJAY were all inconvenienced.
Race 3
Even start. Rounding the 1st turn both JAY FELLA and SILK WEB were tightened for room by LILLY LOUISE when that runner shifted ground inwards. In this incident SILK WEB fell heavily taking no further competitive part in the event whilst JAY FELLA lost ground and in turn inconvenienced QUEENIE’S SIZE which lost ground.
Race 4
Both EVA WROSE and LORD WOLSELEY were slow to begin. Approaching the home turn on the 1st occasion ELEGANT LASS checked off the heels of ST. JAMES’ GATE which in turn forced LORD WOLSELEY wider on the track. Approaching the 600m boxes WING A WAY faltered commenced to lose ground and took no further competitive part in the event. A subsequent veterinary examination of WING A WAY revealed an injured off hock and was stood down for a period of 3 months.
Race 5
No incidents to report.
Race 6
Shortly after the start as a result of CERASTIUM shifting ground inwards both GRANNY STATE and BLONDE WAYS lost ground. A short distance later GRANNY STATE was checked losing ground when PAINFUL BINDI shifted ground inwards. In this incident both ELOQUENT and DARK TRANQUILITY which were following were hampered. Approaching the 600 boxes when racing in a rearward position GRANNY STATE was tightened for room by ELOQUENT when that runner shifted ground inwards.
Race 7
Even start. Rounding the 1st turn BEAU PIERRE shifted ground outwards and hampered both POWER OF TEN and CAPTAIN JOHNO. Approaching the 600m boxes when racing in a rearward position CAPTAIN JOHNO lost ground when POWER OF TEN improved to that runner’s inside. Approaching the home turn both STAFFORD PUNTERS and TRUE STATE collided heavily resulting in TRUE STATE to become unbalanced. BLACK ANSWER tired over the concluding stages.
Race 8
LORD BAKER was slow to begin. Approaching the bottom turn both OUR MOVIE STAR and BLONDE STATE raced tight, then shortly afterwards OUR MOVIE STAR and LATE SHOW LEE were forced wider on the track losing ground.
Race 9
HERE’S POLLY was slow to begin. Approaching the bottom turn as a result of AFRICA STATE shifting ground off the inside KAY CEE ENFORCER was hampered then in turn shifted ground outwards and bumped with HERE’S POLLY. Rounding the home turn RAGAMUFFIN VIXEN checked off the heels of HANIFY QUEEN and as a result became unbalanced.
Race 10
Shortly after the start SILVER BONDS and ELITE JUNO collide heavily resulting in both runners to lose ground. After entering the back straight BUNDY ASSASSIN was checked losing significant ground when COONOWRIN CASSY improved to it’s inside. In this incident both VEYRON and ALINA which were following were hampered. Approaching the home turn VEYRON improved onto the heels of MINI WEB and dragged that runner down resulting in MINI WEB to lose ground.
