MAJOR PRESTO, WATCH OUT BOB and HOT TAMALIE were marginally slow to begin. MAJOR PRESTO checked off the heels of STUNNING POWER and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.
BROMANCE was slow to begin. AGATHA ROSE was checked and lost ground shortly after the start.
Race 3
BILLIE MISTOUT showed early speed out of the boxes. TIZZA BELLA checked off CHECK THE ROBBER and lost some ground on the turn out of the back straight.
Race 4
GO SHARN checked off CAPRICORN STAR shortly after the start resulting in interference to RED COLORADO and MOOKI.
Race 5
General tightening occurred on the turn out of the back straight resulting in FANTASY BOUND losing considerable ground.
Race 6
ASTERAL DANCER was checked on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to POT BLACK.
Race 7
MAJOR LIGHTMAN checked off the heels of BLUE RADLER and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight resulting in interference to BAR TIME.
Race 8
HERMAN JOHN was slow to begin. HIDDEN QUEST was checked and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.
Race 9
SALTWATER CHAOS, BENTLEY BERNIE, SALTWATER LEGEND and SUPER SOPRANO were checked shortly after the start. SUPER SOPRANO tailed off to finish a distant last. A veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Subsequently stewards advised the trainer Mr. Rajan not to start the dog until he is satisfied that the dog will perform in the desired manner. BENTLEY BERNIE checked off SALTWATER CHAOS and lost ground on the turn out of the back straight.
